By using our website and providing information to us, you are consenting to this Policy. Please read it carefully. We reserve the right to amend it at any time by providing reasonable notice. If you do not agree to the collection of data as set forth in our Policy, you will not be able to use BB6’s Platforms.

This Policy applies only to our business and website. It does not apply to the policies or practices of other entities, including other websites that might be linked to our website (for example, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter). Please refer to the privacy policies on any third-party websites, software, or services to learn how they use your personal information.

CATEGORIES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We interpret the term “Personal Information” in accordance with applicable law as referring to information that may be used to identify, contact, or locate a specific person. We collect Personal Information from individuals who volunteer their information to us to enable us to contact them regarding our developments. Our collection includes data such as: name, physical and/or mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, occupation, employment status, age or age group, current residential ownership details, status as a first-time home buyer, financial and credit information, real estate investment purposes and preferences, preferred marketing media, and comments from the person.

BB6 uses Personal Information from customers and potential customers to provide products or services, to respond to requests for information regarding BB6’s products and services, for input on preferred features for future developments, mailing contacts for BB6 publications and newsletters, special events marketing and other marketing research activities, and for additional purposes that may be identified at or before the time that the information is collected. BB6 also uses personal information from purchasers for accounting and transaction completion purposes. BB6 may disclose Personal Information to its legal, financial, and other service providers or in connection with the sale or reorganization of all or part of its business or operations. To the extent BB6 shares Personal Information with service providers, BB6 will require such service providers to honor the commitments to privacy and security as are set forth in this Policy.

We do not disclose Personal Information to third-parties other than service providers who process Personal Information on our behalf or as may be required by applicable law.

We do not regard Personal Information that has been anonymized or aggregated to prevent the identification of a specific individual to continue to be Personal Information.

“Usage Information” means certain personally identifiable and non-identifiable information that we or our third-party service providers may collect through a variety of technologies that automatically or passively collect certain information from users as they visit or interact with our website. Usage Information may include IP address or other device identifiers, the type of browser, device, and operating system a user employs, the URL that referred users to our website, how and when users interact with our website, and other similar information. In particular, we collect information about the manner in which our website is used and the devices on which they are used and to collect data to improve the performance and features of our website. If we combine Usage Information with Personal Information, we will treat the combined data as Personal Information.

Usage Information collected is used to compile overall statistics and is not recorded at an individual level. The statistics help us decide which products and services best serve our website visitors and other customers and for the maintenance and improvement of our Platforms.

The Usage Information we may access, collect, and/or monitor can include location data, such as geographic information regarding the location of the accessing device. Location data may help us understand where our Platforms are being used. Location data, however, is only displayed and shared in accordance with the privacy settings in each user’s device or browser software.

We also use Google Analytics and other third-party analytics tool such as Matomo Cloud for tracking visitors and aggregating information about the traffic to our Platforms. The Google Analytics Privacy Statement can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can learn more about how to opt-out of tracking in Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/. Matomo Cloud's Privacy Policy can be found here: https://matomo.org/privacy/.

By using our Platforms, you are authorizing us to process Personal Information and Usage Information as described in this Policy.

USE OF COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGY

Once a user accesses or uses our Platforms, we and the service provider(s) assisting with the administration of our Platforms may engage, receive, collect, and store Usage Information through automatic data collection tools including cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, embedded web links, and similar technology.

A cookie is a small amount of data that is transferred to your browser by a web server that facilitates communication between browser and server. A cookie can function like a bookmark, enabling efficient return to a desired website.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but browser settings can be changed to decline cookies based on user preference. If you decline cookies, you may not be able to experience all features of our website.

SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

BB6 takes reasonable precautions, including administrative, technical, and physical security safeguards, to protect the Personal Information we receive from users via our Platforms. The security precautions we take are commensurate with the sensitivity of the Personal Information we process. With respect to Personal Information we receive from our website, the servers that store Personal Information are kept in a secure environment under restricted access. Because of these safeguards and our policy of not sharing Personal Information with third parties other than our own service providers, we believe that your decision to share Personal Information with us represents a low risk to you.

Of course, the Internet is not 100 percent secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us. We do not accept liability for unintentional disclosure. Should any event occur where Personal Information has been potentially compromised, our policy is to alert our customers according to applicable law.

By providing Personal Information to us, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of our Platforms. If we learn of a security breach, we may attempt to notify you electronically by posting a notice on our Platforms or by e-mailing you. You may have a legal right to receive this notice in paper/hardcopy format. To receive free written notice of a security breach in paper or hardcopy format (or to withdraw your consent from receiving electronic notice), please notify our privacy officer at the contact information listed below.

USER RIGHTS AND CHOICES

Opt-In. We primarily receive your Personal Information when you voluntarily provide it to us by interacting with our website or social media platforms. You are not required to submit your Personal Information to access and use our Platforms. By providing your Personal Information to us, you are authorizing us to use your Personal Information for the purposes set forth in this Policy. By providing your telephone number, you are authorizing us to call you and to send you text messages for our marketing purposes. You can also unsubscribe from receiving further e-mail communications from us by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link that is included at the bottom of every such e-mail.

In addition, your web browser and/or device may allow you to adjust your privacy settings. For example, you may be able to disable the use of cookies or other persistent identifiers. But doing so may adversely affect our ability to provide our Platforms to you as they are designed to operate using cookies.

You may also set up your browser so that it sends a so-called “do not track” signal to websites you visit. Because we never track your activities across websites or use Usage Information to allow behavioral advertising companies, analytics companies, or others to track users for third-party marketing purposes, your use of the “do not track” signal does not alter the way we collect Personal Information and Usage Information.

If you are a California resident, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits you to request information regarding the disclosure of your personal information by BB6 or its affiliates to a third party for the third party’s direct marketing purposes. BB6 does not currently disclose any Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. For further inquiries under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, please contact our privacy officer at the contact information below.

European Union Privacy. As we are not established in the European Union and neither intentionally market to individuals in the Union nor track data subjects in the Union, we are not subject to the GDPR.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use Personal Information from children under 13 years of age without parental consent, and no part of the website is directed to children under the age of 13. If you learn that a child has provided us with Personal Information without parental consent, you may alert our privacy officer at the contact information shown below. If we learn that we have collected any Personal Information from children under 13 years of age without parental consent, we will promptly take steps to delete such information as well as any other reasonable remedial steps as we deem necessary.

DATA MINIMIZATION & RETENTION

We do not collect Personal Information except as necessary to accomplish the business purposes set forth in this Policy. Except where otherwise required by law, we will retain your Personal Information only for as long as needed for the business purpose for which we collected it.

BB6 will respond to all requests within 30 days. BB6 may extend the time limit for a further 30 days, or, for a longer period, under circumstances permitted by law.

Upon written request to our privacy officer, an individual may request BB6 to correct an error or omission in the personal information that is under BB6’s control.
